In loving memory ~

Elsie was born in Prince George and spent her earlier years at the train station house of Tintagel, BC. She is survived by sons Brad (Susan), Kent (Irene), daughter-in-law Denise (Richard), brother-in-law Bill (Carol) and 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Orist and sons; Todd, Dean and Richard.

The family arrived in Williams Lake in 1957 with four young boys under six. They made their home here for 67 years. Over time the boys moved away but Elsie and Orist stayed and were part of a great community of friends.

Adventure travels in the truck and trailer took them away but they always returned home with more stories to tell. There were and are fabulous friends, always stopping in for visits over coffee and cookies, maybe a card game or two.

To celebrate Elsie and Orist there will be a gathering at the Williams Lake Seniors Centre in September. In lieu of flowers a donation to a charity of your choice.
