It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mom, Ellen Brucks, after a year's battle with cancer.
She is predeceased by her husband, Harvey and fondly remembered by her daughter, Lynda (husband Cliff Philpot and granddaughter, Abbey) and her son, Keven (wife Lisa and grandsons Jayden and Jarryd), sister, Julie Triplett and brother, Alfred McWillis.
Ellen touched the lives of extended family and friends through her kind spirit, her encouraging words, her sharp sense of humor and her gift of art.
As a family, we extend a warm thank you to those who cared for our mom during her illness. Dr. Labosierre, the staff at Deni House and the many dear friends who brought sunshine to Ellen's days with visits.
A private family burial is being planned with a memorial to follow at a later date.
