1942-2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward (Ed) James Watt after a long battle with cancer.

Ed was born in Falcon Nevada, USA then immigrated to Big Lake, BC. From there to Macalister where the family purchased a ranch along the Fraser River, where both parents deceased.

Ed purchased the McLeese Lake Chevron station and met and married his wife Jeanine. After the sale of the gas station he took up being a Traffic Controller (flagging) and worked until he had to retire.

He really enjoyed being a flag person in Williams Lake and all areas, companies, workers and all people in general. We will all miss his smiling face and funny sense of humour.

A special thank you to all the doctors and nurses for the great care he received.

He is survived by his wife Jeanine, 3 children from his first marriage and grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ed asked to be cremated and his ashes placed beside his parents, Jim and Darlene Watt.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the BC Cancer Society.
