October 21, 1933 - November 6, 2020
We are very sad to advise the passing of Edward Lloyd Walters in the Williams Lake Hospital Nov 6, 2020 at the age of 87. Ed was born Oct 21, 1933 in the old Williams Lake Hospital to Lloyd Walters and Dorothy Walters (nee Biggs).
Ed was raised in Horsefly, BC with his siblings Harry, Garth, Frances and Ronald.
Ed is survived by: his loving wife Linda Walters; children Charmaine Martin and her twin daughters Suzanne Walters (Dave) and Tammy Vigliotti (Scott); Wendy Williams (Bob); Randy Walters and daughter Jodi Walters; Rudy Devries (Wendy) and daughter Cheyenne; April Harrison and children Nicollette, Mason, twins Liberty and Oakland, and father Rejean; Rafe Walters (Jessica) son Lucas, and step children Amanda and Alex Hayward.
Also great grandchildren, Jordyn and Devon Mitchell; Liam Walters; Emma and Cohen Vigliotti. Also his only living sibling Garth Walters (June); and sister-in-law Diane Walters (Ron). Sadly Ed was pre-deceased by his siblings Harry, Frances and Ron.
Ed grew up in Horsefly at the historical Walters Ranch. He started driving truck when he was 15 and when asked later in life about his career choice, he always responded that he knew what he wanted to do since he was knee-high to a grasshopper.
Ed also known as Eddy was well liked and respected by his family and friends. He had a good sense of humour and a passion for fishing and camping with many enjoyable trips with family and friends to Cariboo Island on Quesnel Lake. With the purchase of a 24' Ocean Cruiser he enjoyed adventurous and productive fishing trips off the Coast of Bella Coola.
Ed will be so missed by his family and friends.
There will be a Zoom Memorial Service to remember Ed on Saturday December 12 @ 2 pm. Call 250-398-0545 for Zoom details.
