Ed Kohnke – logging truck owner/operator (#1 seniority with JB’s for years) Ed suffered from Dementia and has gone to heaven to be in the arms of family and friends who left before him.
He leaves behind his wife, Shirley, of 61 years, Children, Darlene (Andy Bouchard), Cheryl (Tony McEwen), Marty Kohnke (Patsy), Ronald Kohnke (Marnie) and his brother Ralph Kohnke and family. Ed also left 6 Grandchildren and 13 1/2 great grandchildren.
When Ed left, he just jumped in his old truck (Hazel) and took off for his final trip to heaven.
We all give a shout out to the doctors and staff at the “Village” Rodeo Drive – for the love and compassion during Ed’s journey and a special thanks to Debbie and Kelly while he was in their care.
Later during the summer, we shall all “Gather at the River” to celebrate Ed’s wonderful life.
