We sadly announce the passing of Doug Cavill on July 2, 2024, in Westbank, BC, close to family.
Doug is survived by his wife, of 57 years, Joanne, daughter Cindy & son Scott (Marisa), grandchildren Keri, Kristie, Alex, & Alyssa, great-grandchildren Zoe & Milo, sister Joanne Taylor, numerous nephews & nieces, 2 sisters-in-law, & a brother-in-law.
Doug served in the RCN for 10 years; worked at several mines as an equipment operator; and prior to retirement, he and his wife Joanne managed an apartment complex in Williams Lake. He particularly enjoyed trips to Haida Gwaii and fishing there.
No service by request. Thanks to all his caregivers and to Springfield Funeral Home.
