January 7, 1932 - August 1, 2009It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom, Donna Jane Hooker, on August 1, 2009 at age 77. She was the loving wife of the late Perry Hooker and a devoted mother.
Donna was born January 7, 1932 in Merrill, Oregon, but lived most of her life in the Cariboo. She had a love of life and enjoyed spending time outdoors with her family.
Donna is survived by sister JoAnn Pecora and daughters Brenda Flett (Richard), Tami Abbs (Blair; grandchildren Kristopher, Matthew and Jessica), Dana Rienitz (Mike; grandson Landon.)
Mom will also be missed by nieces, nephews and their families, as well as dear friends and relatives.
She will be fondly remembered for her devotion and respect for her Creator, love for family and her sense of humor.
Special thanks to Dr. Deetlefs and the caring nurses, caregivers and staff at the Williams Lake Seniors Village.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, August 8 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall, 1180 Latin Ave., Williams Lake. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer’s Society.
