Donald Frank McGeachy, born October 1, 1940, passed away suddenly Sunday, July 7, 2002 in Big Lake.
Beloved husband of Nadine (Lariviere), loving father of Dolly McGeachy, Nicki-Lynn Wick, Jody McGeachy and stepfather of Sue Zytaruk and Stewart Grant.
Dear grandfather of Elizabeth Newman, Jessie McGeachy, Jeremy and Jamie Grant and great grandfather of Rylan Newman.
Born in Calgary, Alberta, Don is predeceased by his parents Archie and Lillian McGeachy and will be missed by his sisters Gladys Crowhurst, Marlene Alley, and Dorothy Law.
Don lived in Likely and Big Lake for the past 12 years and had many friends throughout the Cariboo. He is known for his love of animals.
A memorial service will take place on Sunday, July 13, 2002 at 2 p.m. in the Big Lake Community Hall, tea will follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the SPCA are appreciated.
