August 9, 1956 - March 19, 2021
Debbie passed away suddenly on March 19th 2021 in Williams Lake with family by her side. She was 65, born in North Vancouver on August 9th 1956 to Elizebeth (Betty) Kowalski of Horsefly and Richard Slevin of Vancouver.
She met her best friend and love of her life Greg MacDonald in 1976 and spent the next 45 years together having one child, their daughter Jennifer. One of Deb's greatest gifts was her gift to love everyone.
Whether family, friend or stranger. She always had a way of making you feel safe, loved and " At home" Whether working as a bank teller in town, Marshalls at the 150, modeling the earlier fashions or playing in tournaments with the local pool club. It was the ranch where she loved to be.
Starting her day with a coffee and crossword. Surrounded by the sound of wild birds and moose in the distance.
Debbie will always be remembered as a Great Wife, Loving Mother, True Friend and Amazing Cook. Deb has left behind husband Greg, daughter Jennifer MacDonald, siblings Crystal Slevin, Robert (Wilma) Kowalski, Melody Kowalski (Dave Hooker) many Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
