On Monday, August 14, 2017, Mr. David Yewdall Barker of Oliver passed away peacefully at Sunnybank Centre after complications from COPD at the age of 78 years.
David will be fondly remembered by his wife Mary Lou; sons Tim, Paul (Carole), Jonathon; sister Jane (Dick) and grandchildren Melia and Callum.
David retired after a long career as a horseman.
He loved to travel and enjoyed trips to Mexico, Central America and South America. He also liked camping, fishing, horses and life on the farm.
Donations are gratefully accepted for the Canadian Red Cross – BC Wildfire Relief Fund.
No service by request, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
