With the heaviest of hearts and the fondest of memories, we regret to announce the passing of David James Walters on September 29, 2019 at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
Dave loved being out in the fresh air of the outdoors, working in his vegetable garden and building with his hands. He was always one to quickly lend a helping hand to others.
He is survived by his son Jamie Walters, daughter Monica (Dave) Plato, grandsons Linden and Nolan, granddaughter Morgan, brothers and sisters Don, Mary, Susan, Robert, Ruth, Pat, Todd and Wanda, numerous nephews and nieces and many friends and acquaintances. In respecting Dave's wishes, he did not want a big fuss over a service, only to be cremated. Memorial donations in Dave's memory would be greatly appreciated, and may be made to the BC Cancer Society.
