January 10, 1951 - November 8, 2023

In Loving Memory ~

It is with sadness that the family of Chris Knight announces his passing on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Chris was born January 10, 1951, in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. He grew up on a farm near Bangor, Saskatchewan.

Chris graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science degree and had a very short experience in Teaching! Soon thereafter, Chris moved to Williams Lake and worked for Jacobson Brothers Forest Products as an Electrician.

Chris had a very innovative mind, creating and building several projects; the first was an electrical car in 1980, then a car made from cedar wood that was in the Stampede Parades and raffled for charity; designed a solar efficient tiny house; and his most recent project was building a producing small sawmill.

He was pre-deceased by his parents Harry and Annie Knight, and wife Lynda Erickson (April 2015).

He is survived by children Karrah, Jordan and Kevin Knight; grandchildren Kalli and Hayzen Knight; sisters Elizabeth (Jerry) Chamberlain and Patricia (George) Ohnander; and a big extended family.

There will be a Service on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 1:00pm in the Cariboo Central SDA Church on Woodland Drive in Williams Lake.
