In Loving Memory ~
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful, and precious daughter Chelsea Jeannette Lewis, born September 4, 2004. She passed away tragically at the age of 17 years on August 7, 2022. Chelsea was born and raised in Williams Lake, BC and graduated this year at LCSS with distinction. Chelsea aspired to become an accountant and was about to start her post secondary education at the University of British Columbia Okanagan Campus.
As a small child, Chelsea loved crafts, painting, and playing with her friends. As she grew, Chelsea loved any adventure that involved the outdoors and travelling with her friends and family and was always with her faithful companions Brooke(Hogger) and Tikka. As a teen, Chelsea had a passion for mechanics and enjoyed driving around with her friends in her Jimmy. Chelsea was exceptionally skilled at operating heavy-duty equipment and amazed everyone with her skills and abilities.
Although Chelsea was taken way too young, she would want every single one of us to live life to the fullest as she did. Chelsea is survived by her Dad, Michael Lewis and Mom, Tanja Spaans; her sisters Jessie Lewis and Kaitlyn Real and Grandmother Oma - Marietje Spaans and Great Grandma, Leona French, as well as many family and friends.
They walk beside us everyday,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Always loved ,always missed, and always dear.
A celebration of life will be held on August 19th at 2pm at the United Church. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Williams Lake SPCA.
