It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Linda Marie Bouchard on October 27th, 2022 at Deni House in Williams Lake, BC at the age of 63.
Carol was born on April 21st, 1959 in Ste-Rose-du-Lac, MB to Simone Thérrien and Wilfred Bouchard. She grew up on the family farm in Laurier, MB . She attended elementary school in Laurier, then when the family moved to Ste -Rose in 1976, she finished her schooling there.
In 1987, she moved to Williams Lake, BC where she met Ross Haynes and lived there for the rest of her life. Carol worked as a hairdresser, home care worker and eventually was an avid part in their trucking company venture.
She is survived by her husband; Ross Haynes, children; John(Danielle) and Lisa(Brad), siblings; Lilliane, Andy, Lorraine, Albert, Léonie, Irene, and Diane, Grandchildren, Abigail, Ava, Lincoln, Luke, Ella and Kolby, and by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and close friends.
Carol was predeceased by son, Jason Rank and step-son, Rob Haynes, parents, Wilfred and Simone Bouchard , brothers Joseph and George, and brothers-in-law Neil McDonald and Stephen Haynes.
Carol loved to laugh. She enjoyed playing guitar, singing, making crafts, cooking and baking. She loved the outdoors, camping, quadding, snowmobiling, boating and sitting by the fire having a weiner roast. She enjoyed having friends and family over for a meal. She loved to garden and grow beautiful flowers.
Donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in her name.
The family would like to thank Barb, Carol's dear friend, for her care, love and support.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11:00am at the Sacred Heart Church. Tea and celebration of life to follow in the basement.
