Announcing the peaceful passing of Wallace Bruce Haines on September 20, 2018, at the age of 80 after a long battle with cancer. He is now with his loving wife Lillian, who left this world in November of 2016. He is survived by his 5 children, Greg Haines (with Pauline), Lorne Haines (with Linda), Beverly Braun (with Richard), Robert Haines (with Valerie) and Marilyn Haines. Bruce had 16 grandchildren which he adored and many great grandchildren.
Bruce brought his family to Williams Lake in 1974 to take on a retail office supply franchise which later became Haines Office World. Bruce loved fishing and hunting, and he enjoyed spending times on rivers, lakes and the ocean.
A world of thanks to the Williams Lake Hospice Society and to friends who spent time with him during this past difficult year.
A celebration of life will take place in the spring.
