Berend “Brent” Koop

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Berend “Brent” Koop of Williams Lake, B.C. at the age of 77.
Brent (Berend) was a businessman, boat builder, owner/operator of Diamond Coach Lines. He had a love for fishing, a zest for travelling, he had an enjoyment of hosting family get-togethers, at what he referred to as the grandest house in the Cariboo!
Brent had 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Sally and sons: Barry (Fairlie), Brent (Cindy), Brian (Kim), and Darcy; daughters: Brenda (Dan) and Bonnie (Dan).
A celebration tea will be held Thursday, Aug. 23 at
2 p.m. in the basement of the Sacred Heart Church.
For those wishing to honour Brent’s memory, donations can be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
