Blain Terry Mann, born in Williams Lake July 10,1957, passed away quietly after a 2 year battle with cancer April 1, 2016. Blain married his love Alison in 1979 and together they raised three amazing daughters Kristy (Matthew Robins), Stephanie (Ben Tobber), Lindsey (Doug Stephen) and later welcomed two amazing grandchildren Lucas and Addyson Robins.

Williams Lake was always home to Blain, he loved the area, the community and the many friends whose company he enjoyed over the years.

Blain started his working life loading logging trucks, later moving into the construction trade, following in his Dad’s footsteps. It was a trade he worked in and enjoyed everyday.

He will also be missed by his mom Chris Mann, sister Linda Bryant and niece Carlie, his mother-in-law Val Sutherland, brother-in-law Duncan Sutherland (Anne, Arlen, Xan), sisters-in-law: Dayle (Andy, Amelia, Phoebe Nezil), Barbara (John Abram), Rhonda (Ron, Avery, Maddy Palmer), as well as a lifetime of friends.

Many thanks for the support from Dr Labossiere, Home Care nursing (all of you), hospice, EMT’s and the amazing 2nd floor nursing staff at CMH for their kindness and respect.

A Memorial open house will be held at the Elks Hall on Saturday, April 23 between 4-7 pm.

If you wish, please make donations to the WL Hospice or the Cariboo Foundation Hospital Trust.
