Bill Klein passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 23, 2016.  Born and raised on the BC coast at Pender Harbour - but for most of his life since then, a resident of Williams Lake.


Bill was a brilliant mechanic, crane operator and a hard-working and honest businessman who was passionate about nature, rebuilding old heavy equipment, and the beautiful British Columbia outdoors. 


He is survived by his wife of 54 years Alice Klein, his son Lawrence (Belinda), and his daughter Laureen Carruthers (Joel).  He will be greatly missed by his 3 much-loved grandsons Parker, Keaton and Griffin, and his two sisters Grace Evich (Dick) and Corrine Lindsay - as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many old friends.


A Celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the Ramada Inn Convention Centre in Williams Lake at 1:00 pm on Sunday November 6th. A luncheon will be held immediately following the service.
