Clement “Bill” Balestra
Born on April 3, 1926 and passed away on July 1, 2009
Bill came to Canada in the late 1940s and worked in various parts of Canada to finally arrive in the forestry industry in B.C. where he spent the balance of his life. He worked his way up to supervisor of Silvercan Forestry Camp, north of Prince George. Left to mourn is his partner of over 30 years, Mary Lucier, her five children (Arnold, Wayne, Marlene, Brian and Glen), and their spouses. Extra special in his life were his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will really miss him. A service will be held in September 2009 in Williams Lake - notice to follow.
