Betty Jane Morben, aged 92, died peacefully with her family around her, on December 2, 2020 at 5 pm, at the Williams Lake Seniors Village where she lived out the final years of her life. The family is very thankful for the care that she received by her caregivers.
She was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario September 7, 1928, her parents were Earl Francis Beebe & Phyllis Marie (Greenard) Beebe. She was the only daughter and had 6 brothers.
Betty is predeceased by her Husband of 60 years Tom Morben; survived by her 5 children; in order of age, Tom Morben Jr., Ross Morben, Laurie Schuk, Tracy Eeftink, Curt Morben; her brother Arnold Beebe; many sisters in laws; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nephews and nieces.
Betty will be cremated at the funeral home in Williams Lake. The family will have a service at a future date, after the threat of Covid has diminished.
Betty was always described as an unforgettable, "fun and spunky" person that brightened the lives of those around her. She enjoyed the outdoors and sports and facilitated that for her family.
She had a full-time career in administration and education, she retired with husband Tom to Timothy Lake, BC.
