December 21, 1933 - December 7, 2018
Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt, Daughter and Friend to many passed away peacefully on December 7, 2018. 68 years married to the love of her life - Chuck and Bel (as the people closest to them called them) were a true love story right to the end. Laying eyes on each other for the first time at 8 years old at Norquay School a block off of Kingsway. Getting married in 1950 at the age of 16 and 18 and building a life together that took them from Vancouver to the Cariboo where they have lived since 1952. An amazing story of an amazing woman.

Those who knew Bel knew that she viewed life with the sun always shining, the sky always blue and had a pure and kind heart. She loved her family and friends, gardening, hummingbirds and Elvis Presley. She was a master at cooking, baking and canning for many and could beat anybody at a Crib game.

In her final year Bel built many relationships with the kind and caring staff at the Williams Lake Seniors Village, she treated them like her family and they treated her like theirs.

Her family wants to thank all of the staff for the outstanding care she received. Bel will be extremely missed but we grieve in the comfort that she is now at peace and reuniting with friends and family previously lost.

We love you and you will be forever in our hearts - XOX
