In Loving Memory ~
Tony passed away peacefully at Cariboo Place in Williams Lake with his wife by his side.
Tony was born at what was then known as the Alexis Creek Hospital. He spent his early years on his family's Chilancoh Ranch in the Chilcotin. He began his elementary schooling in the school house at Bill Bliss', Willow Springs Ranch.
He then attended St Georges in Vancouver to complete his education. He travelled to McGill University for his post secondary education. In the early 50's he took over Newton Ranch from his aunt, Kathleen Newton and her late husband Reginald Newton.
In 1961, he met his wife Barrie Boucher from Vancouver, they were married in 1962. The ranch was their lifelong passion.
Tony leaves behind his wife of 59 years, son Michael (Corinne) and three grandchildren, Lane, Sarah and Andrew.
He was predeceased by his parents Gabriel and Dorothy (Dyson) Bayliff , daughter Jane, brother and sister-in-law Tim and Merle; nephews James and Hugh.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cariboo Place for the care they provided Tony during his final year.
There will be a memorial service at Newton Ranch on June 17th, 2022 at 2 pm.
