February 16, 1923 – December 31, 2018
Amy was born in Woking, Surrey, UK and emigrated to Canada with her husband, Wilf, and children in 1948. The family started out in Scarborough, Ontario but after a few years decided to move west to Burnaby, BC where the weather was more like England.
Amy was always active in the Anglican Church wherever the family moved, and also taught knitting and crochet in Parksville where she and Wilf moved in retirement.
After Wilf’s passing, Amy moved to Williams Lake where she spent the remainder of her years, first at Terra Ridge and then in the Seniors’ Village.
Amy always loved to sing and spent many years with the Senior Carolers.
She will be sorely missed by sons Tony and Malcolm (Cindy), and daughter Barbara (Kim) as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life in Amy’s favorite season, Spring, with details to follow.
