In Memory of Allen Joe Hordiuk ~
Al was born in Shellbrook Saskatchewan to loving parents Eva Nicolas Hordiuk and Louis Hordiuk.
His very early years were spent running around the family farm enjoying adventures with Big Brother Leon.
At 4, the family moved to Lake Cowichan Vancouver Island for a brief stay and eventually settled in Williams Lake where Al remained until his passing.
Al worked for Lignums/ Tolko Industries for near 42 years and the highlight of his tenure was in 2009 when he completed his Red Seal Millwrights Certification.
Al loved the Cariboo and all it had to offer. He especially enjoyed camping, fishing and boating.
Over the years when he wasn't off fishing you could find him cruising the city in one of his many hotrods- his newest passion was his Plymouth Prowler but the grin on his face when riding his Harley V-Rod was unmatched.
Al was a gambler at heart and though he never won the 'Big one' a game of Keno was often in play. He loved his family and spending time with friends and the 'Table of Knowledge' wasn't complete unless Al was amongst the crew.
Al will be sadly missed by all who knew him but most especially by his devoted mom and brothers Leon, Kelly, Barry and their families. Al also leaves behind his Uncle Rene (Pauline), his Aunts Doris, Margaret and Ollie (Fred) as well as many other family members.
He is predeceased by his dad- Louis Hordiuk, his Aunts Cecile, Annie and Nigel and his Uncle Joe.
We know the celebration on their reunion will be beyond measure.
The Coors Light Brewing Company is going to miss you brother but not as much as the rest of us.
All our love until we see each other again. 'THE FUNNY FARM'

DON'T CRY FOR ME
Don't cry for me.
I will be okay.
Heaven is my home now,
And this is where I'll stay.
Don't cry for me.
I'm where I belong.
I want you to be happy And try to stay strong.
Don't cry for me.
It was just my time But I will see you someday,
On the other side. Don't cry for me.
I am not alone.
The angels are with me,
To welcome me home. Don't cry for me,
For I have no fear.
All my pain is gone,
And Jesus took my tears.
Don't cry for me.
This is not the end.
I'll be waiting here for you,
When we meet again.
