Albert was born in Biggar, Saskatchewan but spent the majority of his life in the Cariboo Chilcotin area. He enjoyed life to fullest and was well known around town for his hard work, his booming voice and his love for coffee. Albert passed away peacefully at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops with family by his side after a brief illness. He was predeceased by both of his parents and his siblings Fred, Edward, and Dorothy. Albert especially mourned the loss of his son, Ronald in 2016. The family takes comfort in knowing that they are together now. Albert will be fondly remembered and missed by his wife of 38 years Fran, his brothers Charlie (Janet) and Bob, his sons, Leslie, Stanley (Heather), Garth (Val) and David (Leah) plus his daughter in law, Lori. His stepchildren, Roger, Rick (Val), Gary (Dale) and especially Sherry (Kelly). He will also be missed by all of his 26 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank all of those that assisted Albert for the past few years, with special thanks to Bob H, Chris A and Sheila H. All that wish to join the family in remembering Albert are invited to his celebration of life, at 2 pm on Saturday, June 1, at the Elks Hall in Williams Lake.
