Albert Demitry Dedosenco

Albert Demitry Dedosenco passed away at Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke on Wednesday, December 10th, 2008 at the age of 69 years. There will be no formal funeral service by Albert’s own request. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1633 Pandosy Street, Kelowna, B.C. V1Y 1P6, in memory of Albert.
Albert was born in Revelstoke, B.C. on July 29th, 1939 and lived most of his life in the Chilcotin area. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and prospecting. Albert loved to be outside. Family was important to him and he enjoyed being with all his family.
Albert was predeceased by his father Demitry in 1951, niece Cherie Dedosenco in 1983, sister-in-law Gloria Dedosenco in November, 2008 and brother-in-law Robert Smith. He is survived by two children: Michelle Dedosenco and her husband Zook of Surrey and Lianne Vanes and her husband Shane of Williams Lake; two grandchildren: Darren and Bryan; one brother, Ron Dedosenco of Revelstoke; one sister Helen (George) Lutz of Nanaimo; mother Rose Camozzi of Revelstoke; nephew Layton (Tasha) Dedosenco of Revelstoke as well as several other nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were in the care of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home, Revelstoke.
