Adrian Vermette (Kookie)
January 25, 1962 - August 21, 2012
On August 21, 2012, Adrian Vermette (Kookie) passed away peacefully in Kamloops at the age of 50. Survived by his loving wife and best friend Maureen and cherished by his children Sarah Pierce (Aaron) of Kamloops and Dustin Vermette of Williams Lake. He will lovingly be remembered by his grandchildren Harmony, Ryder and Hunter whom have many fishing stories with their Papa. His brothers Lyle Vermette and Kelly Vermette and his sisters Myrna Lamb (Stanton), Wendy Warkentin (Melvin) and Kim Webb, many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by his parents Mervin and Pauline Vermette of 100 Mile House and father-in-law Keith McDonald of 100 Mile House and his nephews Terry Lamb and Michael McDonald.
Adrian will be fondly remembered by many friends as a loving father, pet groomer (owner of Kookies Pet Grooming), great fisherman and little friends Cujo and Chicklet.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday August 26th, 2012 at 11 am in the Schoening Funeral Chapel at 513 Seymour Street in Kamloops. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery then a reception in the Schoening’s Chapel Tea Room.
