Williams Lake Regional Airport is conducting a live emergency response exercise on Saturday, May 14 from 8 to 10 a.m.

The exercise will involve various agencies including the RCMP and the Williams Lake Fire Department, and is designed to test the emergency response plan for the airport.

The city noted in a press release there will be no interruption to any scheduled flights and that the airport will remain open and operational during the exercise.
