Williams Lake RCMP seek information on attempted break-in at government liquor store

Williams Lake RCMP asking for information regarding an attempted break-in at the government liquor store early Wednesday.

Williams Lake RCMP are asking for information after an attempted break and enter at the government liquor store on Oliver Street early Wednesday.

Insp. Warren Brown said at approximately 1:45 a.m. on Jan. 30, police received a report of the attempted break in and when they attended the scene discovered a hole through an outer window.

"The culprit had made efforts to enter by smashing out this window however was unable to gain entrance," Brown said.

The investigation is continuing and the RCMP is asking if anyone knows anything about the crime or saw anyone suspicious near the liquor store at that time to please call the Williams Lake Detachment at 250-392-6211 or Crime Stoppers.
