Halloween night was steady but calm for Williams Lake RCMP, according to Staff Sgt. Del Byron of the Williams Lake RCMP detachment.
“We had a couple of minor incidents,” Byron said Monday.
Someone called the police because they thought a person at the Overlander Pub had a gun, but it turned out to be a toy gun and part of a costume.
In another incident someone found a toy gun and was walking through Boitanio Park, which resulted in a phone call to police.
“There were no charges in those cases,” Byron said.
