The Williams Lake RCMP are looking for information on a 20-year-old First Nations woman reported missing to police on Sunday, Sept. 25.

Taryne Justice Alphonse was last seen on Wednesday, Sept. 21, near Boitanio Park in Williams Lake.

"Several calls have come into the RCMP advising of sightings of Alphonse, however, when police arrive at the locations provided, Alphonse could not be located," North District media relations Cpl. Madonna Saunderson said in a press release.

Alphonse was last seen wearing a black and white winter jacket, grey spandex leggings and pink shoes.

She is described as First Nations, 173 centimeters tall, weighing 45 kilograms, with shoulder-length black hair and brown eyes.

Alphonse has been living a high-risk lifestyle, police said.
