A woman reported to the Alexis Creek RCMP that her boyfriend was missing after not returning from checking the family range land in the Chilco Newton area near Alexis Creek last week.
The man was later located by family as the search effort got underway. RCMP attribute his safe return to his common sense and being prepared to face a cold night out in the woods during this last extreme cold snap.
