After going without a chief financial officer since October, the city of Williams Lake announced Wednesday it has hired someone.
Vitali Kozubenko, presently in Victoria, will be begin working as the city's CFO starting on March 15, 2017.
“Council is extremely impressed with Vitali’s exceptional level of financial knowledge and experience,” Mayor Walt Cobb said. “We are pleased to welcome Vitali and his family to Williams Lake, and look forward to working with him as we continue to focus on the city’s goals of open, transparent governance and strong financial accountability.”
Kozubenko joins the city from Victoria, and is looking forward to providing strong leadership and delivering best financial practices for the city, Cobb added.
