Brian Carruthers, the city's chief administrative officer, has taken a two-month leave.
At the Williams Lake city council meeting Tuesday night, Mayor Kerry Cook said the CAO is expected to return to work Aug. 1 and that Geoff Goodall, general manager of of planning and operations, will act as CAO until Carruthers returns.
