Williams Lake BC SPCA needs help after boiler broke

The Williams Lake BC SPCA is asking for donations of blankets after its boiler broke.

The Williams Lake BC SPCA is asking for donations of blankets after its boiler broke.

The organization anticipates the boiler will be replaced in the next two to three weeks and says in the meantime blankets are necessary to ensure animals’ warmth and welfare.

The boiler is estimated to cost $3,500; cash donations toward a new one are gratefully accepted.

Donations can be dropped off at the Williams Lake BC SPCA at 709 Bond Lake Rd.

The SPCA is open Tuesday to Saturday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. or call 250-392-2179.
