"The Day went fantastic with everyone enjoying the talented artists from Williams Lake that entertained us for the day," says Leeyann Allan, Relay for Life leadership chair.

The event raised more than $40,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society. The relay included 16 teams, 140 participants, 51 volunteers, and 31 survivors. More than 400 luminaries lined the track and 260 people did a candle-light vigil walk around the track with taper candles.
