VIDEO: Williams Lake RCMP investigating break and enter theft at Spectra Power Sports

Two suspects broke into the compound, attempted to steal two dirt bikes and left with one

RCMP have released a surveillance video depicting two suspects committing a break and enter theft at Spectra Power Sports in Williams Lake.

“Just after 4 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, two male subjects broke into the Spectra Power Sports complex by cutting the chain link fence that surrounds the business,” said Const. Jay Pickering of the Williams Lake RCMP. “Once inside, the subjects went directly to two dirt bikes that were parked within the compound.”

The two males then pushed them out of the compound, however, only one of the dirt bikes started and they then fled the crime scene on the bike, Pickering said.

Anyone with knowledge of the incident is encouraged to contact the RCMP at 250-392-6211 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers also subscribes to web tips at www.bccrimetstoppers.com.
