B.C. gold-medal winner comes home to Mount Washington

There was a homecoming in the Comox Valley over the weekend, as Olympic halfpipe champion Cassie Sharpe returned to where it all began.

Cassie was the guest of honour at a community event at Crown Isle Resort in Courtenay Friday night, then took to the slopes at Mount Washington on Saturday, surrounded by friends and fans at every turn.
