Emergency crews work on an injured motorcyclist on the side of Fox Mountain Road Thursday afternoon.
According to the RCMP, the driver of the motorcycle was travelling towards the intersection of Highway 97 and tried to pass a dump truck on a curve when it drove head on into an oncoming pickup truck.
The truck driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries and the motorcylist was taken by ambulance to Cariboo Memorial Hospital for treatment of lacerations, bruises and suspected broken ribs.
Both the pickup truck and the motorcycle sustained significant damage.
The RCMP is considering charges against the motorcycle driver under the Motor Vehicle Act. Anyone with further infomation about the crash is asked to call the Williams Lake RCMP at 250-392-6211.
