Original story:

The Prince George RCMP are requesting the public's help in locating an adult female last seen in Prince George Monday.

Cora Elizabeth Gilbert ,18, is a First Nations woman living in Prince George who is originally from Bella Coola.

RCMP said the last confirmed sighting of Gilbert was just after 9 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 26 at 7-Eleven on 20th Avenue in Prince George.

Gilbert is described as being 168 cm or five feet six inches in height, weighing 59 kilograms or 130 pounds, with long black hair and brown eyes.

She has friends throughout northern B.C. including the communities of Fort Nelson, Williams Lake and Anahim Lake, RCMP said.

"Although she is believed to be in Prince George, she may have travelled to another community," RCMP said in a press release. "Police have no reason to believe foul play is involved, but investigators would like to speak to Gilbert to ensure she is safe."

The Prince George RCMP as well as Gilbert's family and friends are requesting the public's help in locating her.

Anyone with information about Glibert or where she might be, is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300.
