Power was restored by 4:45 p.m. Over 2,100 people were without power at various times through the outage.

BC Hydro crews are working to restore a power outage that has impacted the Tribune and surrounding businesses.
Around 2 p.m. Monday a lightning arrester blew at a transformer in the alley behind the TD Bank, in between Second and First Avenues North. A wider power outage resulted, but power was restored to several places within the hour.
At 3 p.m. BC Hydro estimated it would be at least two hours before hydro was restored.
