The Williams Lake the RCMP have arrested the person responsible for a bomb threat.
The RCMP received a call for service of a bomb threat at the City of Williams Lake public works yard on Second Avenue North at 8 a.m. on Thursday.
Members of the RCMP and Williams Lake fire department immediately attended and cordoned the area, evacuating workers.
Within the hour, workers were told they could return to work.
"At this time, the investigation reveals that this is most likely a hoax although further investigation is required," Williams Lake RCMP Insp. Warren Brown said.
