The Clinton RCMP said 12-year-old Shyla Billy of 70 Mile House who was reported missing Monday was located safe and unharmed in Williams Lake Tuesday.

The Clinton RCMP said Tuesday afternoon the 70 Mile House girl who went missing Monday has been located safe and unharmed in Williams Lake.

The RCMP are looking for a 12-year-old girl from 70 Mile House who was reported missing Monday and may be in Williams Lake.

"During the early morning hours of Monday May 5, Clinton RCMP received a complaint that Shyla Billy had gone missing from her residence in the 70 Mile House area, north of Clinton," the RCMP said in a press release.

"It is believed Shyla was given a ride to Williams Lake where she is believed to be at this time," Clinton RCMP Corp. Mike Eling said. "She is originally from Williams Lake."

Billy is a First Nations female, approximately five feet four inches, 124 pounds and is likely wearing a grey jacket and black sweater.
