Update: Alexis Creek RCMP say missing teens located

Two teens reported missing on May 30 have been located, said the Alexis Creek RCMP.

A male and female youth reported missing on May 30, 2016 have been located, said the Alexis Creek RCMP, thanking the public for their assistance.

The Alexis Creek RCMP are looking for information regarding two missing teens.

On May 30 at 7:45 p.m., RCMP received a report that 17-year-old Christopher Butler and 16-year-old Katrina Squinas left the Tatla Lake area sometime during the night of May 30.

Information provided is that they may also be travelling in a grey 2000 Toyota Echo with B.C. licence plate No. 376-THP to an unknown destination.

Katrina is described as First Nations, five-foot-nine-inches tall with a slender build, black waist-length hair, brown eyes and lighter skin. RCMP received no clothing description.

Christopher is described as First Nations, five-foot-11-inches tall, average build, short, black curly hair with brown eyes. RCMP again received no clothing description.

Anyone with information on either missing teen or the Toyota Echo they are travelling in is asked to call the Alexis Creek RCMP detachment at 250-394-4211 or 911.
