Mediation undertaken in an attempt to bring TRU administration and the TRU Faculty Association to a negotiated settlement on a new collective agreement has failed, TRUFA president Tom Friedman said Friday in a press release.
In the absence of a negotiated settlement, the mediator has made recommendations for a settlement to both parties.
The TRU Faculty Association Executive met Friday afternoon and has decided to bring the mediator’s recommendations to a general faculty meeting next Tuesday.
