Thompson Rivers University and the Northern Shuswap Tribal Council hosted a graduation ceremony with the Williams Lake Indian Band at Sugar Cane Friday, March 14 to celebrate completion of the Journey Project.
The program includes Language Teaching Certification, Stewardship of Our Lands and Administration and Governance Training.
It is a one year education/training program that will continue to pave the way to address present post treaty needs in Northern Secwepemc communities.
