The Williams Lake Tribune is pleased to announce it is a finalist in two categories for the 2011 B.C. and Yukon Community Newspaper Awards/Ma Murray Awards.
Tribune contributor Sage Birchwater has been selected as one of three finalists in the B.C. Arts Council Arts & Culture Writing Award for his article, Urban Ink/Twin Fish wind up first youth training session.
The Tribune’s Casual Country supplement has also been selected as one of three finalists in the Special Section Award: Under 25,000 category. Awards for first, second and third place will be handed out on Saturday, April 30 at the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond.
