Thieves target a dozen vehicles in Williams Lake early Sunday

During the early hours of June 9, 12 vehicles were broken into. Most of them had their windows smashed.

The culprits rummaged through the vehicles, stealing various items including two bicycles, a GPS and a back pack.

Locations of the thefts occurred throughout town including at the hospital, Coast Fraser Inn and on Third Avenue South.

Additionally, sometime overnight on June 8, a Polaris ATV was stolen from a residence on Fox Mountain. The ATV was recovered a short distance away as it appears the thieves could not get it started, the RCMP said.
