Telus service interrupted early Friday morning in Williams Lake

Telus confirmed there was a disruption to Internet and TV service Friday, March, 24, between 5 and 6 a.m.

Telus confirmed there was a disruption to its Internet and TV service Friday, March, 24 between 5 and 6 a.m. impacting customers in the Williams Lake area.

"Service is now fully restored," communications spokesperson Liz Sauvé told the Tribune . "Technicians were able to restore service within the hour, and are investigating what caused the disruption as we speak."

If customers are still experiencing a disruption to service, they can try unplugging their modem and plugging it back in, and that should resolve any outstanding issues, she added.

"Otherwise, they can get in contact with us and we can help them troubleshoot."

When asked about interruptions of service on Wednesday, March 22, Sauvé said Telus was not aware of any.
