South Cariboo recreation/S&R referendum vote Saturday

South Cariboo residents in 100 Mile House and Electorial Areas G, H and L vote on recreation and search and rescue bylaws Saturday, Sept. 7.

The Cariboo Regional District reminds all south Cariboo residents, including those in the District of 100 Mile House and Electoral Areas G, H and L of the general voting day for referendums on the South Cariboo Recreation and South Cariboo Search and Rescue bylaws.

The general voting day for both referendums takes place this Saturday, Sept. 7 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the council chambers of the District of 100 Mile House, 108 Mile Community Hall, Forest Grove Community Hall, Lone Butte Community Hall, *Roe Lake (Interlakes) Community Hall – SC Search and Rescue Only!

Who Should Vote:  All residents including those within the District of 100 Mile House and CRD Electoral Areas G, H and L.

Residents are reminded to bring at least two pieces of ID. One of them must have a signature and should prove your address however, if you do not have something with your current address you are allowed to make a formal declaration of residency. Picture identification is not necessary.

Typical examples of ID that people use are driver’s license, BCID, firearms license, care card, credit card, SIN, status card, bank card, etc. A utility bill will also work as a secondary piece of ID.
